PRIVACY & RESPONSIBLE DESIGN
Useful personalisation.
Thoughtful boundaries.
This website presents FIXSTEM’s vision and interactive concepts. It does not provide student accounts, collect school records or run a learner assessment.

Using this website
Demonstration choices, quiz answers and calculator values are held in the current page and reset on reload. The site does not send them to FIXSTEM. There is no application analytics or advertising code added to the website.
The optional read-aloud feature uses your browser’s speech service. Depending on your browser and selected voice, the browser provider may process the demonstration text. It does not read information from school records.
Contacting FIXSTEM
The enquiry helper opens an email draft in your email application. It does not submit a web form or store your message on this site. If you send an email, its contents and your email address will be received by FIXSTEM to respond to your enquiry. Send general enquiries to info@fixstem.co.uk; do not include identifiable pupil information.
Hosting and fonts
This website is hosted via standard web hosting (Hostinger) and may process technical server logs needed to provide secure access and deliver pages. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives connection information such as your IP address. Web hosting and browser services may have their own privacy notices and storage practices.
Illustrative imagery
The editorial photographs and virtual-lab concept image were generated for this website. They illustrate learning settings and design ideas; they do not depict FIXSTEM participants, staff, partner schools or measured outcomes. The FIXSTEM logo is the original artwork supplied by the founder.
Before a school platform goes live
FIXSTEM’s proposed learner profiles would involve sensitive school context. Before a live pilot using pupil data, the project needs to agree data roles and lawful processing with the school, complete the relevant impact assessment, define access and retention, and provide understandable privacy information.
Data minimisation, teacher review, role-appropriate access and a way to correct information are design requirements to implement and verify. They are not claims of a completed compliance certification.
Human judgement stays central
The proposed profile supports educational adjustments. It is not a diagnosis. Staff should review readiness and support needs rather than relying on an automated decision to exclude a learner from an activity.
